You know me. You’ve seen me. I walk on the sidewalks next to you, you’ve passed me in corridors of power, you work by my side or you work for me. I am Pallas Athena, I am my father’s daughter and I am shaped for power and success. I sit in your boardrooms and even if you haven’t met me, it is my strategies you implement, it my visions you clothe in reality by your tasks.
When you encounter me, you have a fleeting glimpse of what I am about. I am power. You see this in my eyes which are clear and direct and from which nothing is hidden. If you’re honest, you’re comfortable in my gaze; if you are crafty and your motives murky, you are uncomfortable because I see everything and you can feel this. Know now that I see inside of you and I file away what I see to be used later. I keep watching, talking, asking, working by your side, seeing your problems and your blocks and then I use what I have learnt to come up with solutions to help you achieve, to help you grow or if needed to cut you forever out of a system.
A part of my essence is my mind. I am forever learning and then applying what I have learnt for troubleshooting. When
systems go down, when processes fail, when the unexpected happens, I am the one with Plan B and I am the one who puts it to use. I am the one who works on getting the systems restored.
I am success. I succeed because I link person to person, idea to idea. I create networks and then I use them to manifest my visions into reality. When the chips are down, I am the one who rallies you. It is me who never gives up, it is my power that inspires you and sees you through: It is me you follow when you’re lost.

I relate to you as a co-worker, as a peer, as a comrade-in-arms and as a leader. I also relate to you as a sister. Fierce and protective when elder, fierce and loyal when younger. I love and where I love, I protect.
Power drips from my fingers and ideas rise in my mind. Both capable of changing the flow of work and making things better; both capable of changing the course of people’s destinies. I wear my power well and comfortably, the responsibility does not daunt me, I was born for this.

Haha Neeti you made me check where my natal Pallas is. It is at exactly the same degree (10.57R Leo) as my Saturn. I knew it there must be something there.
Kick ass, soul sister! xxx
Jeremiah K. here, I just don’t use my name on widely accessible webpages because I don’t like to turn up in web searches. (So if you see Earnest Dodge, that’s me!) ANYWAY, I have Pallas Athena in a Grand Water Trine with Vesta and Mars– Pallas at 2 Scorpio on the 5th Cusp trine Mars at 2 Pisces in the 9th trine Vesta at 1 Cancer in the 12th.
Although I don’t use asteroids in my “practice” (not that I’m a pro astrologer, just a daily amateur with some skillz) I do think that Pallas and the grand water trine is a pretty important clue to my personality, which is secretive, sneaky, strategic, and competitive in a very Scorpionic way, i.e. you would never know it on the surface– all the effort is happening in my mind while pasted on my face is a sweet smile.
If that’s the case, then “Earnest Dodge” is an oddly fitting “pen” name
I’m writing on Vesta next, anything you want to share would be most appreciated.
Haha no one else has ever commented on the name before, which is obviously a pun referring to my basic nature.
I see you, J.
With Vesta in my 12th at 1 Cancer (only other objects in my 12th are Saturn in Gemini and south node conjunct the Asc from the 12th side) in trine to Mars in Pisces on the 9th cusp I have been a spiritual person all my life– rom childhood actually. I consider myself an unorthodox modern shaman. Lucid dreaming, meditation, visualization, chanting/singing, expanding chi fields, sex magick, and of course things like astrology, runemal, the tao, many parts of buddhism– indeed searching for knowledge from elsewhere (the 9th) in general are all important to me, and it’s probably Vesta in my 12th in this grand water trine which provides the impetus for all of this, since Mars in Pisces, while spiritual, doesn’t have much go-go-go-energy! The Cardinality of Cancer and the fact that I’m Cancer Rising (with Moon in Virgo in several forms of mutual reception with the Moon’s dispositor, Mercury, which is in a Grand Earth Trine of his own) gives Vesta the oomph I need to actually move forward in my practice.
Athena fair
stalwart daughter of Zeus
graces her time and place
with divine knowledge.
Today unlined face,
silken hair,
robust yet fragile form
are proclaimed as the graces
of womanhood.
Athena, lost in the pantheon,
whispers to the nightears
of her faithful,
saying: “True woman’s mind
inclines to wisdom.”
But Daddy’s girl
wants more recompense
for loneliness.
I’m fascinated by the asteroids so it’s great to read more about them Neeti. Doing my own research as well! I love the 1st person description. Pallas is certainly not someone I’m want to mess around with. She’s like Scorpio crossed with Gemini!
@Libramoon – Love your poem
Hi Neeti,
Was just over at Chirotic Journal and came back here to assure you I just love your new voice as Goddess. I’m undertaking to acknowledge their feminine power in myself, but yet the word power still resonates negatively. I am attempting to understand power in a new, non-masculine way.
My Pallas is conjunct my Mercury and TBM Lilith in Libra 1st so lessons shall be learned as Saturn makes its final passes back and forth in my lifetime.
Thanks. More, please.
Thank you very much for your note, Sabina. I’m going to start work on Vesta in a few minutes and then sleep. I hope I finish it before I sleep, so help me, Vesta! xxx
Hi Neeti,
Have you disappeared from FB or ?
