Ultimately, it’s really simple, isn’t it? To snag happiness? Someone to love, something to do. Someone who loves us, some goal to strive for. And then when the sun has dipped below the horizon, to be able to rest.
But don’t listen to me. I just had a chocolate donut, am in the middle of a delightful book and the work week has ended.
Also, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars are all in Taurus. Yes, it’s really simple. If you want it to be. Go snag yourself some happiness.
Nimium Fortunatus
I have lain in the sun
I have toil’d as I might,
I have thought as I would,
And now it is night.
My bed full of sleep,
My heart full of content
For friends that I met
The way that I went.
I welcome fatigue
While frenzy and care
Like thin summer clouds
Go melting in air.
To dream as I may
And awake when I will
With the song of the birds
And the sun on the hill.
Or death – were it death -
To what would I wake
Who loved in my home
All life for its sake?
What good have I wrought?
I laugh to have learned
That joy cannot come
Unless it be earned;
For a happier lot
Than God giveth me
It never hath been
Nor ever shall be.

Great post! But not fair using those yummy looking donuts to get me to click! lol
Wishing you love, laughter and true happiness – always!
With both my natal and progressed Jupiter in Taurus, powerfully aspected with a lovely assortment of trines and squares in nearly exact orb, I resonate fully with what you are describing here
Brilliant posts, as always, Neeti. Looking forward to many more . . .
Thank you, Wisiunia. Is the stangehouse.com yours?
I second Melissa’s comment, especially when I’ve got Venus in the 6th. Can’t even resist seeing the picture let alone the real thing! lol
It’s the simple things in life that bring happiness. Here, here!
It sounds quite weird that Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars are all in Taurus, but they be beneficial for us i guess. Thanks for the share!!
