You’re content stringing me along
Like a jangly toy whose sound you like
And I’m content, sometimes, to jangle by your side.
I’m fascinated by how you soul-bond
With your laptop
your papers
and your phone
And by how you’ll go to a dictionary
To nail the nuance of a word
But miss the heart of the person who said it
But it isn’t so bad
I can always cheer you up
By reminding you of something you once read
And then you’ll run to look it up
And you can always cheer me up
By rhyming me a rhyme
Quoting me a quote
Finding me a pun
I guess it kind of makes up for those times
When I wish you would just be quiet
And look into my eyes
And enter my stillness.

You captured it Neeti – my Gemini Moon is my Leo grand daughter,I am powerless against that combination and have developed a thick skin!
Right on point!
The woman I love has moon in Gemini. Her thoughts run millions of miles a second, in directions I can hardly track, and her moods swing whichever way the wind dictates with rarely a coherent reason as to why. Stubborn in her thoughts, attached to her laptop, phone, tv, and workout trinkets, her movements are her breath and her inner workings are a thrill and a frustration both at the same time. And even though I crave a bit of constancy here or there, I wouldn’t take her any other way.
She is the vital whirlwind of my life
To all the Gemini moons out there, keep on moving, reinventing, thinking, simply living darlings!
Well Neeti you described me perfectly lol
My Moon in Gemini is a little screwed-up, it tightly squares Uranus/Pluto.
It is also my chart ruler since I’ve a Cancer ascendant.
Let’s just say I’m a little off-the-wall emotionally at the best of times
My friends are used to it
what an incredible poem
Did you like it? It describes two important relationships in my life currently: both Gemini Moons. Sextiling my Sun but quinqunx my Scorpio Moon…
Fabulous poem and so Moon in Gemini! Many of my closest friends are Gemini. With my Aquarius Moon, I can relate but can get cranky with all the chopping and changing of ideas, plans and thoughts.
Love the part about ‘soul bonding’ with laptops – brilliant
Cell-phones, BlackBerries, G-talk, et al
Oh dear – that’ll be me then, Neeti. Must be quite hard for Scorpio Moon to take sometimes.
It describes in perfection my daughter gemini moon!
Beautiful poem.
Greetings! Here speaketh a Lady Luna de Gemini… yes, I have to agree with this. I love and need letters (ie the alphabet, fonts/founts/typefaces) words, pages, books and to write and read, to hear and make jokes, especially puns, do crosswords and puzzles etc. Sometimes I read the dictionary (!). We can also be just plain silly, daft and bonkers sometimes too.
But I can sit quietly still and listen (my job!), maybe because that moon sits in my 8th house, and a I have tenanted Scorpio 12th with Scorpio ASC too. IMO, the key to managing a Gemini moon is meditation and mindful awareness of the present – it certainly helps to control the tendency to whizz – with careful attention paid to one’e emotional life.
I used to think it was a disadvantage to have this moon, but now I now I know how to handle it’s a part of me that I understand and like. Thank goodness, I probably need it as Saturn and Pluto are very strong in my chart and being a Libran whaddo I need if not balance? The other great thing this moon lends itself to is DANCE… Yay, Fred Astaire had it doncha know!
Hi Finky pops, hello! Steven Forrest while talking about Gemini and Mercury also talks about listening.
