Orientation:
I am a psychological, western, evolutionary astrologer and hence my focus is as much on the outer events of a person’s life as it is with their inner dimensions. People contain inner contradictions and I believe by understanding these and working with them, we can lead more peaceful and richer lives.
I have found that we live in a matrix of both free will and fate and we can use our free will to make the best of what we are and what life presents us with.
Reading Style:
There are two ways to approach a reading. An astrologer can opt to request the biographical details of the client and then work with the chart. Or an astrologer can do a “cold” reading i.e. without the biographical details of the client.
I personally prefer to do cold readings where I do not know anything about my clients. Thus what I pick on and convey is abstract and captures the major themes of the chart. The session is interactive; the client fills in the biographical details as we talk. Example: If I see a strong fifth house, I know the theme of creativity, joy, children, romances etc. is an important one. But I cannot tell just from the chart how you have chosen to bring it to life in your story.
My personal belief is that we incarnate with a special mission. The chart will underline the mission or the themes that are most relevant for a person: for some people the focus is on self-development; for others it could be about relationships. Some people are born to create a stable financial structure in an incarnation and others could be born to unlearn the value that is placed on money and claim freedom from that; or to create wealth in an unconventional / non-traditional manner.
Every chart has both gifts and challenges. Using the gifts well and learning how to understand and evolve in dealing with the challenges is the great work of a lifetime. That is what I explore in a full-chart reading.
In predicative astrology I can shine a light on where the chart is being activated e.g. career, health, relationships. Some periods are easy and making changes or accepting them does not cause undue trauma. Then there are periods where change can be emotionally difficult to process even if it has already occurred or is about to occur and even if we are the ones making the change ourselves.
Examples:
I cannot tell you with certainty whether you will marry or not; or marry multiple times. But I can tell you what promise or blockages your chart holds in this regards and how to best work with them. And I can tell you if the current time period is one where the universe will be presenting you will increased opportunities in this area. If the chart at the time of the consultation is stressing a current or near-future theme of another kind, I will bring that to your notice.
I like to keep my sessions interactive and follow my client’s interest. If you want me to focus more on a particular aspect, then I do exactly that.
Readings: Ideally the best sessions happen face-to-face. If that is not possible, I use video Skype. If someone is not comfortable with video, voice Skype is used.
Contact: You can reach me on neetig@hotmail.com
Payment: I accept payments via PayPal and my rates are:
- Full chart reading with current predictive focus: $95. These sessions range from 1.5 hours to 2 hours. I am open to follow up questions via email after a session.
- Focus on just one aspect in the chart or life: $50. The duration of these sessions is 1 hour. But if needed, I am open to extending it by another 15 minutes.
Timings:
I do readings from 5 pm IST to midnight IST. The waiting time to get an appointment varies from a few days to a week.
Hi there —
Thanks for the kind words about Gemini and . . I’m also a Leo with much Mercury! I will let my friends know about your I Heart Gemini post.
All best, Mark
BTW — correct the spelling of AMATEUR on your sub-header 🙂
Thanks for pointing that out, Mark. How embarrassing! I’m so blaming my Mercury’s square to Neptune for this 🙂
Thanks, also for that lovely “sparkling with thoughts”. Perfect for Mars conjunct Uranus in Gemini opp Sag moon.
I’m savoring your poems.
Mark
You’re welcome: your blog is infused with a very Gemini-like spirit. It charms the mind.
The poems? Oh, yes: I think it’s the Mercury-Neptune square again 🙂
Nice blog Neeti! K xxx
Hi Neeti~
After several years of quietly posting on my blog I’m starting to come out more and read/connect with others more on their blogs….would you be interested in linking on our blogrolls? ~Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth, I would be honored. Thank you!
In fact, I linked to one of your posts in my earlier post. For surcease from Neptune sorrow: https://astrologyexpressed.wordpress.com/2009/07/18/venus-neptune-and-the-astrology-of-unrequited-love/
Nice to meet another astrologer Neeti, I have AC trine Jupiter 🙂
Hi Neeti
another Sun Leo with strong Mercury emerges from the ether! I like your blog and it would be nice to trade links – check out my blog – ‘Writing from the Twelfth House’ and if you like what’s there perhaps we can swop?
All good wishes

Hi Neeti,
Great blog. Love your Sun Sign Humour. So funny and so true.
Look forward to more of your great Mercurial talent.
Thank you, Ruth. Maybe I should do another humor piece. Even I could use a laugh these days. xxx
i am new to your site and i am enjoying it rather well. i just want to know why the scorpion is always given such a negative definition. i find it funny that there are many things that i am soooo not, however, many that i definitely am. silly i know. i’m scorp with sag rising. my planet is the dwarf planet, lol, i’m 4’9″, ironic?
Hello Neeti,
I couldn’t help noticing the transits for 16th-17th December 2012. Pluto in Capricorn sextile Saturn in Scorpio – mutual reception forms a Boomerang Yod with Jupiter in Gemini and Mercury in Sagg(mutual reception again). How do you think this is affecting our country- a lot of sexual crimes and abuse issues coming to light, there seems to be a lot of anger over existing laws around convicting rape perpetrators etc etc. especially since a lot of revolt is going on after the incident of the Delhi gang rape. Do you think this configuration reflects that? There are debates going on if laws should be changed and capital punishment awarded..
This is the first time i am noticing a pattern- a huge social incident and a transit reflecting it .(the Delhi incident occurred on the night of 16th Dec) So i really wanted to know how to read more into it. I do not even know if these are appropriate to ask.
Thank you.
You also seem to have humour 😛
Dear Neeta,
I’m thinking of entering a short film (less than 5 mins) competition and wondered if you would please give me permission to quote the following:
“Eyes that weep, once the weeping is done, are deeper eyes, kinder eyes.”
Would you consent to this?
Thanks, Debbie
Hi Debbie, sure, please use it. And best of luck!
Thankyou so very much Neeta. If i manage to pull it off I shall send you the link. Thanks again 🙂
